Unlike most other flying lanterns these ones are 100% wire free eco lanterns. The fact that they contain no metal wire means that they biodegrade faster and are totally animal safe. In the past there have been reports of animals eating the wire from other no eco lanterns but these eco lanterns get around the need for wire by using specially treated rope instead of wire to hold the fuel block in place.

FireFly Flying Lanterns are authentic Chinese Lanterns. Traditional ‘Khoom Fay’ or ‘Khom Loy’ lanterns were invented 1800 years ago by Zhuge Liang of China. They are still widely used in the Far East today to help celebrate important events and to bring good luck.
